Infinite Learning Facilitates Dialogue with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology on the Future of Indonesian Talent

Infinite Learning hosted the event "Dialogue Masa Depan: the Future of Indonesian Talent," featuring the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology on August 1 and 2. The event aimed to facilitate access and discussions among all stakeholders involved in the Merdeka Campus Independent Study & Internship Program (MSIB). Universities and industries also participated in the event.

Dialogue with the Program Director of Infinite Learning, Ari Nugrahanto, and the Head of the MSIB Program, Wachyu Hari Haji, engaged in discussions with representatives from universities and partners.

The dialogue took place over two days, with the keynote speakers being the Head of the MSIB Program and the Head of Strategic Partnerships at the Kampus Merdeka Center. On the first day, the focus was on the MSIB and how universities and industries can contribute to this program.

A total of 13 universities attended in person in Batam, with most of them from the Riau Island, and more than 60 universities were invited to join online. During the dialogue, universities raised questions and challenges faced during the MSIB process.

As the MSIB Merdeka Campus has been a hot topic in recent weeks, Wachyu Hari Haji, the Head of the MSIB Program, reassured universities and partners that the 7th batch of MSIB will proceed as planned. During this opportunity, Mr. Wachyu also provided advice to universities on conversion issues, suggesting that one solution is to implement an off-campus learning system without deleting the core courses.

Partnership signature ceremony between Infinite Learning and campuses

At the end of the dialogue, Infinite Learning awarded several universities in the Riau Island that have supported the program since the first batch. The 13 universities that attended also conducted a ceremonial signing of the MoA as proof of support for the MSIB program at Infinite Learning. The MoA was signed by Mr. Ari Nugrahanto, Program Director of Infinite Learning, and the rectors (or their representatives) from each university. This MoA will strengthen the relationship between Infinite Learning and the universities, not only for the MSIB program but also for other activities needed by both parties. (J)
